The Patterns of Life…

March is offering plenty of numerical dates that show repetition. Today is 3/23/23. Earlier this week was a palindrome, 3/20/2023. A secret (or maybe not!) about me is that I am a nerd for numbers and patterns. I am intrigued by esoterics like Numerology. And by mathematical things like pi, the Fibonacci Sequence, the Golden Ratio, tessellations, and more.

Frosty Morning With Bald Eagle

One of my favorite spots for my morning meditation and yoga is on the deck looking out over Lake Francis. This year, mild November weather has offered me the opportunity to enjoy the deck in the early morning. What I most love about this spot is all of the animal activity that happens overhead and around me.

It’s like always waiting for the other shoe to drop.

What if we can flip that!

June 2021 - Love Note “Busy As A Beaver”

Let’s Be Busy Beavers this Summer!

Dear Friend,

Beaver is our spirit animal for this month. With his built-in Wisdom, Beaver is always building his home. Like Divine Father, what he builds provides protection, order and structure for his family. Beaver shows us the discipline of a steady presence of work to build and create a pure, clean home that is safe for its family. Indeed, they must work to build each day or their teeth will go through their mouth. The wisdom inherent in them tells them to gnaw on wood each day and to use this wood to build dams in flowing water so that their community of beavers have a safe and healthy place to reproduce and raise their young.

June 2021 - Love Note “The Divine Father”

Welcome to our Love Note!

Dear Friend,

Wishing a Happy Father’s Day to all of those who father!

Just as fathers do, the Divine Father provides order, wisdom and protection to all of creation. His energy is unlimited and omnipresent. He is referred to by many names depending on the culture and tradition. In Christianity, he is God the Father, in indigenous cultures he is Great Spirit and Father Sky, in eastern spirituality he is the divine masculine or Yang energy.
